Got bit by the Mod bug bad

Hi

We have had our 6MT for about a month now(2,100 miles) and are really enjoying it with the exception of the psyco low tire air pressure light. Our last two cars were fairly high performance turbocharged sedans('02 Audi S4, '04 Volvo S60R), so we kinda got used to having some good punch. We picked the G35 based on a bunch of factors and it was for sure the best choice overall. The G is plenty fast stock but I just couldn't resist a little tweeking without doing anything that would make it a bad daily driver.

So after a LOT of research(the "search" engine works well), here is what I ended up with.

Z-Tube
K&N filter
JIC Y-Pipe
Coupe Mid-Pipe
HKS muffler
UR pulley

I have a buddy that has a lift in his garage(very cool), so as soon as it all comes in I'll do the install and let you know how it worked out. I have no plans to put her on a dyno.

I just placed the order last night so I cannot give any opinions yet. I did get good feedback on the JIC and the fact that it is a direct bolt on sold me.

Do you know how lucky you are to have a lift in a buddy's garage?!?!

Do you know how lucky you are to live in Maryland...it's just {....} that much too far for us SoCal folks to drop in and make use of it.

You'd think one of us would get a lift one day.

Keep us updated!

Cheers, Ted
