Welcome, Dave. Don't be too durned hard on yourself. They're both basically the same cars underneath with a few changes here and there. Hope you enjoy the new ride. They're a blast. It'll be interesting to hear what you think about the sedan vs. a coupe like the Z. Usually people are pretty surprised at how well the sedan actually drives. I still haven't gotten around to driving an X, but the 6-speed is great.

Happy motoring.

Welcome aboard- Can't wait to hear your perspective after some miles.
I've always driven manuals, but the auto (especially after some miles) is a nice piece.
After about 2800 miles, I'm a big fan of the AWD feel on this rig.
Obviously hope you reconsider making this a project car. I'd be great to see what a supercharger, bigger brakes, and suspension would do for the x

Dave, welcome to X ownership. I got my X a few months ago and drove it home in a snowstorm. It handled perfectly. Now that it is springtime here in PA, I am still loving the way this X handles. I did a few mods here and there, and would really like to lower it. However, at this time, nobody makes a sport shock up to the task of a lowered car. I'm looking forward to your opinions of the car after you have owned it for a while. From what I have experienced so far, it's hard not to like the X.

Dave, glad to see you wised up and bought a sedan. Now you can actually have more then two adults in your car!

Looks like I am gonna have to suscribe to yet another magazine! LOL. I do think the car is quick. Definitely faster than the 2003 Maxima I replaced. The car is also a lot of fun to toss around in the dry. Just turn off the VDC and find some twisties.

That's his tint. Huper Optik is the brand name and the numbers are the percentage of light transmission.

That says it all.
