If you're planning to BUY-OUT the car after the lease matures...you can do whatever you want to it.

The only time you should be cautious about modifying a leased vehicle is if you're planning to turn it back in.

So, go for what you've always wanted to do to your G...have fun - its YOURS afterall ^-^

I've bought out a lease before (a Grand Cherokee through Chrysler Financial). They only care about the condition of the car if you're turning it in. For a buy out, they don't even look at it. I don't know the rules in NH, but here in CA, the only thing the car has to pass is a smog test. You may want to keep all the stock parts in a box, though, in case something comes up and you change your mind and decide to/need to turn in the car instead of buying it at the end of the lease.

Plus, you can always call the 800 number on your monthly statement and ask them these questions directly. They'll be happy to talk to you about such things and let you know what your options really are.

If you're going to buy it why would they care what condition it's in?

If you're buying it, don't worry about it. If it were me, I'd keep the OEM piedes anyway just in case you change your mind.
As far as the wing, I doubt anyone will notice, but you won't be able to take that off, unless you trade trunk lids.

Mine is a leased G35 and I have done a few minor mods which so far have been bolt-on. My thoughts are: I don't mind spending a few $$$ myself for these mods today, as I will enjoy them for the next 3 years of the lease. At lease end, I can easily remove them, restore the car to stock and try to sell the items on E-Bay to make back a little money.
