Suspension

I have on 03 sports suspension package and wheels.
I've seen posts that you swap 350z suspension into it. Question: Are the specs of 350z shocks the same as sports-tuned sedans? If so, all I need to swap are the springs?
TIA

They are not the same. The 350z shocks are valved to be stiffer for more agressive handling. I installed the shocks and springs from an 05 350z on my 03.5 6MT Sedan with sport suspension, and the handling was noticeably better. Ride quality is still pretty good, but it is sportier and you can feel the increased stiffness. Do some searches for posts by Gsedan35 - he has compared the specs and performed some road tests.

Ricmalaz is there any bounciness with your setup? Or any negatives?

I have a 03 Sedan NON sport suspension do I just need the 350z springs to lower an 1 inch? And I have 20's all around will it rub? Or can I go with Eibach pro kit is there a difference with the pro kit and 350z springs?

transportchef -

There is no bounciness on my setup. I got everything I wanted from the swap - slight drop for a better look, better handling, good price ($200). The ride is just slightly firmer.

ydlee24 -

I don't know about rubbing with your wheels, but there have been many discussions on the subject. You should search for comments from people with the same size wheels (including offsets) and tires. I have no rubbing at all. I measured the drop on my car to be 1" in front and 1/2" in back.
