KongzGx:

It's one of those things you put in your windshield to block the heat from the sun. But it goes beyond the cardboard foldups. It's some sort of insulating material with a reflective outer surface. It rolls up and has a velcro strap when not hanging out on your windshield. It's a computer-cut custom-fit for your windshield. They run around $30, but I think they're worth it over the cheaper kind you can find elsewhere -- these can reduce the interior temp by up to 40F.

No, I don't work for them, I've just had one in whatever my car was for the last 10 years.

is it installed in the car, or portable like other visors? only for the front windshield?

I believe the one ryoken is talking about is portable. The one I got from my dealer rolls up and then stays closed with the velcro tab mentioned. It sits in the windshield when you park and in the trunk when driving! They really do work and they fit is perfect. Since I plan on having the car 10+ years I'm doing everything possible to save the interior. Highly recommended.

They're definitely nice in the summer, help keep the car cooler and save the interior.
