How often do you turn VDC off?

I'm still in my break in period so I've kept my VDC on. Do most people use the VDC? How does the car behave with VDC off.

night and day. i NEVER keep it on. IMO it kicks in WAY too early, and it actually scares me b/c i know the car is MUCH more capable than what the comptuer thinks, and kicks in so early. you just gotta learn what the car is capable of and you wont have a problem. know that even if the tires give out, the car still has much more capabilty before it gets out of control. get used to the car, then keep it off. if its raining, its always on for me.

I rarely turn it off, but I agree it kicks in too early. Keep in mind when you turn it off it is not ALL the way off.

I drive with it off most of the time as well, but like skeleton said, it is never really off. It has come back ON on me on a couple of occassions where i may have pushed the car too much into a corner, etc. But if youwant to get the most out of your driving experience, drive with it off.

Uhhh, how about....

Whenever I get into my car. I can't stand how obtrusive the VDC can be at times!

I have had it off since I bought the car with only a few miles on it. I always turn it off as soon as I get in the car.

Careful turning it off. Conditions are sometimes unexpected when you need it most.

Pestilence was the first of us to find out the hard way!

Most of the time I turn it off. I have a 6mt and not so mooth shifts will make it kick in. If it's raining out, I leave it on.

Less interference from the safety conscious VDC. You can get a little more "squirrelly" with the VDC off.

oh yes, when you have the 6mt, and you dont have the smoothest shift, that sucker kicks in. you can never turn it off completely? didnt know that. if its never compeltely off, how do you use it at the track? wont it kick in?
