Thoughts on the Sport suspension
I have the sport suspension on my 05 sedan and am absolutely happy with the option. I guess it depends on your "likes" though. I had a 04 Sedan w/o sport as a loaner from the dealer for a few days and I could tell a difference with how it handled. I felt like I had I less control with the non-sport loaner and at times I felt like it was "sliding" in hard turns. This is probably the "roll" difference.
Thus, I prefer my 05 with Sport. I don't think you feel everything on the road but it is a much firmer ride, which I expected from the sport suspension.
Good Luck! The Sport Suspension gives the G an extra "sport sedan" boost. I love the option and the new 18's.

I have the sport suspension and think it rides nice.
But my last car, 2003 Maxima, had KYB struts and eibach springs and rode rougher than a stagecoach...so compared to that, this sport suspension feels like a dream
Get the sport susp. You won't regret it.

I've had both the sport and non-sport. My original 03 had non-sport and it tended to roll a lot in the turns, definitely not something you could turn on a dime. My 04 has sport suspension and it's much tighter around turns, especially when you've got freeway gaps. The non-sport really jumped on those things. The sport makes quite a difference if you want to drive it hard.
The ride is still very smooth, expecially on highways, but a bit bumpier and your car tends to do the little sports car bounce and looks/feels cool. The only time you're gonna get that is when you drive slowly over rough city pavement. Otherwise, it's noticeable but not uncomfortable. It's not like you're driving on wooden wheels. It definitely feels firm, but very solid and not that all that bumpy. You really feel the road and I wouldn't trade it at all. If you want to ride in a bumpy car, check out the hopped up Audi TT on 18's. That's bumpy. Not sure if I'd ever want to get tighter than that because I think it would be too jarry.

FWIW, the sports suspension on my '05 became noticeably smoother and more comfortable somewhere around the 5,000 mile mark. The springs and shocks definitely need some time to settle in.
I have the Sports suspension and I find the ride to be pretty sporty. It's firm and can be a bit harsh on broken pavement, frost heaves, and in weather colder than 40 degrees (due to the shock oil being thicker, bushings harder). Handling wise, I think it's great especially for an OEM setup. I think the ride and handling will improve once I get rid of the ill handling and riding Turanza EL42s. The previous owner opted out of getting the Goodyear summer tires that come with the Sport package.
I should mention that I do have the Coupe springs on the front (.6-.7" drop), but they have basically the same rate as the Sport springs. I did the coupe springs because I wanted the gap in the front to match the gap in the rear.
Has noticed that the Sport equipped Gs tend to ride a fraction lower than the non-Sport?

Just get the sport model....
Just get the sport model and be done with it. It's what you want...right? Wait until you change out the stock tires and then the real fun can begin.

At 32psi it's a nice tight package but still smooth over the concrete seams, etc.

The main reason I got the sport suspension was that it came with the aero pkg in Canada.
(spoiler, ti interior trim, etc.)
I wasn't concerned about the supension because I was planning to do mods anyway.
If you plan to drop your car then OEM sport is a non issue.
I installed '05 350Z springs c/w Tokico shocks (amazing
)for aprox $600.
It's far superior to the OEM sport; handling & ride (adjustable)
I have a 2004 6mt with the sport suspension and have about 4700 on it. It's fine. I just came back from a 1500 mile trip (CT to NC and back) and it was fine on the highway and is great on local roads.

is looks amazing, but it is an '04. i thought it was an 05 for the longest, but i had pm'd him recently and finally looked at his mods and he does have an 04 with Nismo. and i agree, it is the best looking sedan i have seen yet.
