I agree with you regarding the dealer. I have received the impression that people still think that the dealers are part of the manufacturer. Dealerships are just dealers, agents, retailers. As you said, they are in business to make money. I also understand about wanting service, as we think that we should get from an 'Infiniti' dealer, especially if we are smart enough to be proactive as owners. It seems that the applicable phrase is ... if it's not broken don't fix it.
