Yup, If you have it, the extra battery cover on the driver's side is a mirror image of the stock battery cover on the passenger's side.

So is that an option on 05's? I mean...I am 99.9% sure there are covers in both corner unless I am out of my mind. Will check it tonight when I get home to be 100% sure...

Do you have the cover?

No I don't have it, I have thought about ordering it though. I don't believe it was an option, I never saw it as an option when I ordered my X.

I haven't seen under the hood of any '05's but it sounds like they don't have it either. If you already have one, it must have been a gift from the dealer. They must have liked you!!

I don't know about that...I bought it for $100 over invoice and they still slap in the cover...

My 05 G arrived at the dealers on Dec/04 and I don't have the drivers side cover. I know a few others that got their 05's after me and they don't have it either.

I got my 05 in March. I added the cover myself. There was no option for it. I learned of the left side battery cover from this site. Glad I did. Looks mUCH better with it.

Actually if you look at the service manual, its a good idea to reset the ecu due to the way it learns. It will never FULLY learn the new air/fuel ratio unless you reset the ecu. This ecu acts differently than the Maximas which you are use too.
