back in 2003, I was smitten w/ the G35s. The sedan made sense, the coupe was sexier though.

I ended up buying an M-B E320Wagon. I guess you can see that the sedan would fit my needs better than a coupe. (young child and 2 small dogs)

Now, I am back looking at the Gs. I still love sports cars, and I grove the g35 coupe a few months back. It was fun, but the seats were too tight for my big *** (260 lbs). It looked like I was digging a hemoroid when I had to adjust the seat. Last week, I drove an '05 6MT sedan. Amazing!!!

I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on it.

hmm...tough decision. i dont know if i want to bite the bullet on this one. i love my coupe and we do have a new 2005 pathfinder to take care of larger family functions.

i talked with my wife and she will trust my judgement.

my other question is: i have tanabe springs on my coupe. do you know if these springs will work on the sedan?

thanks for all your responses and support.

WOW, so many people doing this swap. I too got rid of my 04 coupe for an 05 sedan. I was worried, but after driving it a while, it's only SLIGHTLY different.

I noticed the seats, all be them more comfortable in the sedan, just don't hold you down like the buckets in the coupe. DEFINITELY noticed the difference in a tight corner; feels like your going to fly into the door!

I think that the ride is better, and also heard that the 05 suspension got some good tweaks, definitely feels nice. I noticed that the care doesn't "step out" as much either, mostly due to the longer wheelbase, it may actually corner better. I was constantly sliding the rear of the coupe around (cause I'm a throttle freak), so thats a (plus) for the sedan.

I really like the room and the trunk is at least DOUBLE the size of the coupe. I transplanted my stereo, amps, woofer to the new trunk and it's got great acoustics. All in all, I'm happy. Just not as sporty looking as the coupe, but don't be fooled, its the same motor, and I swapped my grounding kit, CAI, pulleys, Etc so it's like driving the same car.

IMO.

Cool

It all comes down to your needs. It would be nice to have both, but for most of us that's not reality. My brother just purchased an 05 coupe and I have to admit it's a nice ride. The sedan may not be as sexy, but it's not bad either. If you get the sedan I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as the coupe.
