sport tuned suspension

I have a 03 Sedan with NON-Sport on 20x8.5 rims wrapped in 245/35 tires and I just ordered a sport tuned suspension from a coupe 05 and was wondering if I should put the whole sport tuned suspension on or just the springs? What do you guys think? Thankyou.

I also had a non-sport suspension on my 03, upgraded shocks and springs to the 03.5 sport tuned suspension. A real good move. I don't know why you would not want both shocks and springs? Do the whole thing...

I put an 05' coupe suspension on mine as well. Definately do the springs and shocks. Greatly improved handling with very little increase in ride stiffness, and drops car about 1/2 all around.

The suspension components were designed to be used together - if you just use the springs or just the shocks, the damping and rebound rates, plus the cornering and ride characteristics would not be coordinated and result in inferior overall handling or ride, or both.

Suspension components in today's cars are complex - just experimenting with sway bars of varying sizes alone can cause major changes in oversteer and understeer characteristics.

Then, there's the tires ......................
