Wind Noise
After reading threads on wind noise going back to the introduction of the G35 in 2002, I am surprise that it is still a prevalent problem on 2005 models. In my case it is coming from the right rear quarter window (triangle piece). It starts to be noticeable from 80Km (50 mph) and quite noticeable at highway speeds.
Upon inspection on the offending quarter window I noticed that when I push on the glass, there is a bit of play when compared to the right side. Not sure whether it is a molding problem.
Forum members that have this problem, what was the fix that the dealer performed to correct the wind noise?
The reason I am asking is because I am going to get the G tinted and I was wondering if I should get the dealer to fix the problem first before getting the G tinted. Otherwise, I will probably get a snarky remark from the dealer that the wind noise is due to the tinting !!
