Sunday Morning Maintenance...
Got up at 0600. Washed and buffed the G. Rounded up the wifey, threw the tools and materials in the trunk and headed over to Snowman's. (another member here) Wifey also loves working on the G.
He jumped in his TL and we went to the base. Threw the G on the lift and did the first oil change. 2200 miles. Seemed like a good compromise between Nissan's requirement (3750 miles) and the more conservative guys here (1000 miles). Interesting evolution - no trouble just not what I'm used to.
After the oil we installed my splash guards. Pulled the wheels to make it easy AND to verify Nissan's factory torques. The first one was the experiment (left rear) and we took our time, the rest went on in minutes.
Dropped the lift, pulled her into the sun and she LOOKA GOOT!
A nice way to spend the morning, even if the heat index was over 100 by 1100.

I just got down using all 3 steps of Michelin's new tire & wheel care system.
The tire & wheel cleaner - that is pH neutral is hot sh*t. You do have to wipe the wheels down, but it really does a good job at break dust - taking care of things that even caustic sprays do not. (Although it does require wiping / buffing - but since pH neutral - there is no concern for your hands - or wheel damage)
I HIGHLY recommend the wheel cleaner. The dust repellant - we'll have to see how my wheels look in 1-2 weeks.

Should have let me know, I would have helped!

Dude - I used to do all my maintenance in the driveway - there is NO WAY my old creaky a$$ is sliding under this car. I won't fit. LOL...
Also - laughed my FAO when I saw the baby food jar sized oil filter. I guess I'm used to seeing the one on my truck or something - it holds 2 quarts of oil.. This thing is tiny. Went by Auto Zone and picked up a cap wrench for $6 - glad I did too - the shop didn't have anything small enough for this filter.

Washed her yesterday, two weeks of rain here in the Pac NW put me in a cash wash slump. Today I finished by rotating my tires and checking brake pad wear. I'm 3.5mm to the wear indicators. I think that means there's another 5k or so miles left before the inevitable warrantee brake service.
It was nice to have some time this weekend to enjoy this exceptional car.
