i'm on dunlops direzzas 245/45/18s all four corners(coupe wheels).......much, much better handling and response.......i don't track or drag, these serves me just fine......good luck.
I've been looking at tires also and for 235/45/18 there's such a limited availability of tire selection. I was researching other tire sizes and i think 245/45/18 would work. They have a larger tire selection, but it may be just a tad bit too wide for the stock 7.5 inch rim.
I too am considering new tires. Indeed the 235/45R18 size has little to offer. 1 Michellin Pilot model and a couple of Goodyears, which you couldn't pay me to run.
I looked at the 245/45R18 and there are ALOT of choices. Some website calcuated a 1.3% speedo error (too slow) with these tires. I guess the dealer could adjust for this, at what cost I do not know.
btw - the website for the size calc is: "http://researchyourcar.com/tirechange.php"
