Exclamation Goodboot Eagle F1's at Sam's Club

I just priced a set of Goodyear Eagle F-1's at Sam's Club.

245-35ZR-18 88Y VSB GS-D3 mounted, ballanced, road hazard, free rotation, free flat repair

Price: $1009.41

The only catch is you pay up front, and it takes 5-8 days to get them in.

FYI - Discount Tire will beat competitor's price...

...I actually bought Eagle F1's at Discount Tire in March, even though they were listed cheaper at Sam's. Discount beat the Sam's total price by $20....not much, but every bit helps. Plus, the Discount Tire I went to didn't even check the prices at Sam's, they just took my word for what Sam's was charging....I should have said $150 a piece! =)

Anyway, just FYI...

. Did you like the Goodyear? I just had to buy tires. Went with hancook ventus v12. $705 ffrom tire rack, about $50 shipping charge , and mounted for $89.99... So far I like em.....very smooth and quiet compared to the OEM potenza.

Yes, I'm running Goodyear Eagle GT now and I'm on my third set. Great tire in ANY weather.

That's good to know. I actually went to goodyears website while deciding which tire to buy and a did a search by car and I got no results...I will just have to search by tire size next time.

I ran a set of these on the rears one summer -- went from near-new to bald in one season, and I don't drive them hard. Plus they picked up every rock on the road and threw it out the back or up into my fenders. My current BS 970s are better in every way. Just my experience.

How does the 970 compare to the o.e bs potenza re050? That tire was so harsh that I diddnt even consider another Bridgestone.....

Not to totally jack the thread, but yeah, the RE050s were harsh and heavy. Read up on Tirerack re: 970AS PP's. Totally different tire.

I get 25000 miles out of the GT's. You are either a lead foot or you have an alignment problem.

I ran Goodyear Eagle F1 G2's and like the brand they were only good for one year, only made it to 10k now there slicks, great tire though but bad treadwear.

Yeah, that tire has a much softer rubber compound than the GT's which are an "all season" type of tire.

Decent/mid pack performing tire to use for that area.
