I know road damage is part of the "price of admission" for a daily driver. However after 5 years and 50K on my former car (1996 SHO), I had just slightly more rock chips than I already have with my 2 month old, 2,100 mile G35. PLUS, my SHO was silver and showed black spots where rock chips happened, making them way more obvious than the chips on my black G.

Anyway, I'll just try not to think about it and take the available precautions of not tailgating semi's and other hazardous vehicles.

Eeaton ... road condition is to blame. On top of that, you have a Black car so it is even more visible, worse than other light colors. I also have black and I see enough of them. And here in FL, I see plenty dead bugs as well on long trips (not daily commute).
