Will it work? can the bigger armrest be bolted into the same mounting bracket as the smaller 6mt armrest?

The tiny armrest is annoying. It is too low and too far back to be comfortably used.

I think it's there for a reason, so you can shift easier. The bigger AT might get in your way.

I suspect you have short legs and your seat is moved up some. For me it's perfect as my seat is all the way back and my arm just naturally sits there on the arm rest

I agree and wish it was moved up a bit. I rest my arm on the shifter **** as I drive out of habit and wish it was moved well up to accomadate that. Actuall I wish it was adjustable in that it slid back and forth.

I'm 6'0" tall. I keep the seat fairly far back, not all the way though.

If the armrest could slide, it would be a big improvement.

I was thiking of trying to buy the rear armrest flip-out cupholders, and get an armrest made (similar to the A/T armrest. Build it to fit the flip-out cupholders. that would be perfect. A taller, longer armrest w/ flip-out cupholders!!!

I would like to bring this thread back to life.
Has anyone done the switch??
I know it would sit further forward and not latch but does it get in the way of anything?
