I guess it's my turn... I'm one of the few women on the site... like they said, we're here, you just have to look very closely... most people on the site refer to me as "dude" not realizing that I am, in fact, female!!! I met the love of my life thanks to my G (and the forum)... we both have IP coupes... it's a little, um... corny... We both get soo excited about new mods.... and instead of being entirely clueless about his plans for the car, I ask for weekly lists of mods I can buy him... it keeps our relationship interesting, and I have my G to thank for my bestfriend

 

Female G owner here checking in. My husband doesn’t love my car as much as I do, but I don’t love his S2K as much as he does, so it’s only fair. As for the car forums, AFAIK, he’s not registered here, g35driver.com is my thing, s2ki.com is his thing. We’re not really competitive--as long as he understands that my car is better than his. My hubby does think I’m nuts for constantly far parking, but he’ll also admit that my car is always nice looking.

 

Nice to "meet" the other ladies. I think it is cool to be able to share this with your significant other. I doubt I could get really into the mods, etc. only because I don't know _that_ much about engines in general.

Yeh, it kinda sucks for people to just assume your a guy but from the link to a previous thread I was "forwarded" they don't exactly behave when they know it is a woman.

But that's why we love them, right girls?

I used to say I only worried about losing my husband to a female computer geek but now I have worry about a female gearhead. LOL!

 

I am a woman and I love my G. I always have loved cars and I always will. It always surprises the guys that I date.
