Re: Update on Sedan Mods
ryoken - I dont care what tire racks says. I installed them and raced on them at sebring international racetrack...

and they worked great. No rubbing and they dont look too big. I also was clocked with a radar gun on the back straight and from what I could tell the speedo was dead on. The reason is that the speedo calibrates itself.
I feel your concerns (I had them) but the SO3 are awesome baby!!!! JUST DO IT...PUSS....hehehehe

Re: Update on Sedan Mods
Had a similar experience tracking my 6MT sedan. I ran about 150 miles before I had issues. The track was probably a little slower (Spokane Int'l Raceway) with hard braking corners coming after 105mph and 90mph straights. Actually my pedal felt great until the last run of the second day when it was in the low 80s and the traffic was light (fast). Back at the pits, my rear pads were gone and the fronts were significantly worn too. My rotors may be trashed too since they are now kind of a pretty blue color - I find out tomorrow. I need to upgrade since I plan on tracking the car a couple times a year. Right now the Stillen rotors and pads seem like a decent value. Let us know how the pads work out when you track your car next. If I could get the change down to an hour, I would consider race-only pads too; I don't know how tough that would be though. How did you vent the rear brakes (pics)?? I read in an early article on this car that they intentionally biased the rear brakes to reduce brake dive. I don't know if I buy it, it might have come from the engineer that thought 52/48 weight distribution was better than 50/50. I wonder if you could take some of that rear bias out somehow?? Overall though this car kicked butt, I passed M3s, and M5s; you could tell the M5 had more power but I made it up and then some in the corners. Even the brakes did a great job (I was able to outbrake most), until failure of course. My kingdom for the Brembos. If you want to track your car, it has plenty of power, a brake upgrade is a must and tires would be great bang-for-the-buck. An exhaust system would make it sound meaner on the straights, right now its just too pretty on the track. Too add to the insanity, my car has less than 2500 miles on it - no I couldn't wait any longer. Anybody get heel-and-toeing down on this car??
