I got this information from the TSB forum but I was unable to post a reply on that forum. My car has this probem and I contacted my dealer about it and of course they have never heard of it. So if anyone has any more information, please let me know.

IF YOU CONFIRM:
The transmission in an applied vehicle has delayed engagement and/or "shift shock" when shifting into Drive ("D") range from Reverse ("R").
ACTION:
Follow the "Diagnosis and Repair Flow Chart" (page 2) to resolve the incident.

 

I would contact Infiniti Customer Service and give them the TSB number, <font color=blue>Service Bulletin Num : 03033 </font color=blue> and see what they say. Keep us posted.

 

I called Infiniti customer service and indeed there is a new TSB out for the mentioned problem. It can occur to all G35 Sedans built before March 18, 2003 with a VIN number ending that is less then 327763. I have an appointment with my dealer next week.
