Question Making a deal today

I will be making a deal today for my 05 G35x with Package C. I was given an initial offer of $500 over invoice (without me even asking about the price).
So, should i stick with it or look to get it at invoice.

Are these selling less for invoice, what is the best deal anyone got.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!! I have been searching the forums, so please dont suggest me to search the forums.

6 more hours before i sign the deal....and join the Owners Club

Thats an easy fair deal. People usually get invoice up to $500 over.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Where are you located again?

Let me tangent here and say - please at least put your state in your location field - for those of us who actually try to keep people straight.

Like I said - sounds good to me and congrats on the new car. Post us some pics when you get the new baby home. Think you made a good choice. From how the BMW dealer here treated us when we were looking I would be hard pressed to even consider buying one. Also, I work at the biggest hospital in Birmingham and have to walk through one of the doc's parking lots every day. There are more G's than BMW's in that lot almost every day I go through there.

Take that offer man, that is a good deal. But since you are doing it, you might as well try and heckle it down a few hundered bucks. Walk in and go for your test drive, as long as everything is cool say "We've got a deal if you can go down $200" I'm very jealous of the current interest rates on the sedans as I'm awaiting a coupe and they have no such deal on them

Sounds like a decent deal. If you want more off, then ask for their best price, or ask for service like oil changes for a year or options like splash guards.

Enjoy the new ride.

500 over

I have used edmunds.com in the past and have received good deals. I usually shoot for $300 over invoice, but I'm buying late in the year for that year's model. With that being said, $500 over invoice now seems pretty legit. If you want to buy now I'd say it's a good deal. IMHO

I got my 6MT from the Infiniti dealer at the Lisle Auto Plaza. They were barley willing to wiggle on the 6MT saying that we only have a few, they are HOT right now, etc... Initially they wanted me to buy at MSRP, I politely told them to keep the car, we got to about 1000 over invoice for car, tax and title.
