You got screwed on the "dealer fee" and $94 wheel locks (they're a $15 wholesale item; my dealer showed me their parts department's cost), so what you ended up with was $500 over invoice. Seems like a really good deal to me. Some have done better (but not much); many worse.

If so you got a big chunk off msrp

Can I ask you where you live ? Did the dealer have a lot of 6MT in stock ?
Am shopping for a 6MT sedan myself in San Antonio, TX (also in Dallas & Houston).

also want a 6mt sedan

Hey guys wanted to know what you thought is the best i can do for a sedan 6mt with premium package in cali... i got offered 31200 in santa monica... but i feel like i can do a lot better... anyone know about vpp prices? or grubbs vpp prices?

The best anyone can do is listed on edmunds.com.... It's called invoice! It also supplies a figure for "what other people are paying." I'm real curious to find out how they calculate that one. I paid list price for mine with roughly 3k added to my trade-in value. It worked out as pretty close to invoice, but I then paid an extra grand for lojack and a clear bra which probably supplied an extra 400 in profit to the dealer. They also porked me on financing - luring me with 2.9% and giving me 4.25%. I had a letter from my mortgage company explaining that any late payments were completely their fault, but that didn't seem to make a difference.... I think the dealer is going to get a cut any way you go about it....
