Question Memory seats - side mirrors

I just picked up my car yesterday and noticed the memory seat option does not store / set the side mirrors.

I programmed my memory seat after adjusting the sterring, seat and side mirrors and rear view mirror, set it to option '1'. My friend changed all the settings for his liking.
I got back in and hit the '1' on the drivers seat, It adjusted the sterring and seat but not the side view mirrors and rear view.

I believe Rear View mirror was not a part of memory seat settings, what about the side view mirrors?????

Is something wrong here?

Congrats on the car hun! I don't think our memory does the mirrors either. I will have to check the manual to see if it says if they are supposed to or not. I'm interested what everyone says. I'll let you know what I find in the manual when I get downstairs to check.

The coupe does not have this option, but I know the Sedan does. My bf's TL does the seat and mirrors, but not rearview. Nice feature, but no one else ever drives my car anywase.

Thumbs up

Unfortunately the mirrors do not adjust with the seat. It would also be nice if the right side mirror adjusted downward when in reverse for parking. There's alot of little tweaks that Infiniti should preform on this car, but I still love it.

Sadly but true, the mirrors do not adjust as part of your memory setting, only the seat controls. Those are the nice little things to have. Like someone mentioned, on reverse, the passenger mirror moves so you can see downward. I like that on BMWs. Hopefully those will be planned add ons for next year or so. I think you would expect that for an entry level luxury ride.

Especially considering it would take some guy a couple of hours to code it into the ECU and maybe 28 cents of additional manufacturing cost for Infiniti.

SELECT * from TABLE tranny_gear
if * EQUAL reverse then MOVE pass_rearview DOWN_POSITION
elseif MOVE pass_rearview ORIGINAL_POSITION

Infiniti - please make checks payable to "Trebien".

Thanks.

The passenger side mirror tilting downwards is a nice feature. But, I hope Infiniti goes all the way and also makes the driver's side mirror tilt as well. I recently drove a TL loaner, and both side mirrors tilted downwards. Nice to have when parallel parking on those 1-way streets.
