Does anyone know if there some mod i can do to the rear because i had the trunk release button in between both tail light that is like a big square that says infiniti in small lettering. I like the 04 and 05 look better, where it stretches across most of the middle like most cars do.

would i have to buy a new trunk lid or is there another way?

 

The easiest fix would be to buy the newer-style trunk (unless the emergency cable release system inside the trunk is different). Maybe check out a junk yard to see if you can find a totalled G35 without any rear end damage.
