Unless you get one used on ebay, forums, etc., that is about right. I paid the same for mine at EverythingG35.

You may want to check out some of the Z sites and see if anyone there wants to sell their stock tube.

I just bought one last week, and i thought it was a solid waste of my money. There wasn't a note of difference in the sound. Some of the other '05 6MT owners have said the same thing. Maybe it is a thing with the '05 6MT sedans...because we're not getting anything from it.

Now, the stillen airbox, it rocks!!!! I put that on 2 days after the Z tube.

LOL, that's cheap. Mine was $160 + 15% tax up here in Canada.

When you say airbox, is it a replacement for the stock airbox, or are you referring to the CAI? Pardon the ignorance, but I'm completely green when it comes to this stuff.

The Stillen HiFlow AirBox replaces the stock airbox. Coupled with the Z-tube on a pre 2005 G35, it rocks big time. The stock 2005 G35 sounds like my 2003 with the Z-tube.

our stock air box filter has a resonater on the bottom which the 350z does not have. It will really cut the sound. If you look at the picture below and direct your attention to the lower right black thing, that's it! Our G-tube also has a resonator, so that's 2 resonators trying to cut the sound down.

Curious, has anyone ever decided to just cut out the resonator's and cover the hole up instead of spending all the money to eliminate them? If so let us know...

I just removed the resonator and left the hole.... sounds little louder, but that could be my imagination. gas mileage did not change with the resonator gone.
