My friend, that is a huge scam. I've heard it done in many ways....................but I'm sure it's a scam. What they do is send you a fake check, you send a good one, and they insert applicable limb into you know where.

scamming the scammer
Here's the link:
http://pages.sbcglobal.net/dumbmrbla...%20Scammer.htm

Ok, so reply to his email and tell him to send the Money Order. Once you get it, go to the junk yard and ask them for a free bumper. Then solicit donations from here (I'm in for $20) for shipping and send it in such a way that he's got to pay cash (COD) to UPS for Customs and Shipping before he can open it.

Who else is in for covering some expenses on this?

LMAO!! Yeah, that's it! I remember know, that was from somethingawful. You can also jack up the scammers cost of import taxes by declaring a high cost of the packaged item.

Yes, the potential 'buyer' is trying to get his foot in the door. It will go down hill from here, I'd drop this scab.

The funny thing about many of these is how clear it is that English is not their native language. You would think they would get an English-speaking proofreader. Many of them originate in Russia or Nigeria. Although after reading the grammar on some of the posts on this forum I guess they could be American.

Regarding the craigs list person, send that jerkhole two packages:

The first package: A box of fine cream-covered pastries from a 'secret admirer'

The second package, to arrive a day or so later: A video tape showing a bum jerking off all over those pastries for 10 bux.

Scam
Yes,, this is an old scam.. I am a police officer here in Las Vegas and I investigate internet crimes.. even if you get the money in your bank via his check, it will still be a bad check. The banks often "front" their customers the money even though the bank has not contacted the bank at the other end. Most banks can take several weeks to contact the other bank and if it is out of the country it may take longer. DO NOT ACCEPT A CHECK OR CASHIERS CHECK.
I use credit cards or paypal to buy items over the internet and only accept the same as payment, although cash is cool too...

Quote: Oh Please, Please, Please! Pretend to go along with this. Get his mailing address and ship him a steaming box of dog doodie, or better yet, several REALLY bad diapers ;-)
Exactly how do you keep dog doodie "steamy" for overseas shipping? Is that what "Brown can do for you"???
