I cannot find a link that defines the 03-04 models specs with what comes in various option packages and what is standard equipment on the G. Does the telescoping steering wheel come as standard equip. or is there a certain package it must be included in?

 

I don't think that was even an option for the 03-04 models.

 

I also don’t think it was available—at least not when I bought my 03.

My 04 does not have it and the manual does not discuss it. It does go up and down. is available on the 05 sedan.

 

Telescoping steering wheel wasn’t avail till 05... it's one of the only interior differences that I prefer over pre-05... that and the padded leather arm rests. In fact the 05 door armrest is so much more comfortable I have been trying to get them in my 04. You can't buy the 05 armrest alone (you have to get the whole door panel $1100+ ea), so I'm trying to find a decent upholstery shop to leather wrap and pad mine.

Other than that I like the interior layout of the 04 better.
