i was driving in my g35x (no package), and found that i can just pull the steering wheel out toward me
i know that it's a feature
but i didn't know i could do it without pushing any buttons
is there a way to lock the steering wheel in place

This is VERY DANGEROUS. It should only telescope when the lever below the wheel is unlocked. The wheel can go up and down also, but for driving the wheel MUST be locked. See page 3-30 of the 05 manual. If you have electric adjustment of the wheel, it should move only when you move the lever on the left behind the wheel.


If the lever is locked and the wheel moves up and down or in and out, you should get it towed to the dealer.
