Is this doable on the 05s? Will US dealerships do this for us for a fee? It seems like there is such option on the Japanese models:

Do a search for a member g35unky, he is in the process of obtaining this for a coupe and seeing how it works. There is plenty of information in the thread he started.

 

If you need that option that bad get an acura TL

 

Why the negative attitude. Most other high end cars have this capability and its a shame infinti didn't incorporate it into our cars.

Negative attitude? I don't see one. I can think of many more features and gadgets that the Infiniti doesn't have that's offered in another brand, I'm just saying if one feature is that important to you that's offered in another car you want to consider switching brands.
Kinda like buying gas, one manufacturer doesn't offer all the additives you switch to another gas.

 

Hi all, the tilting side mirror option is not that necessary to me, as I have been very pleased with my 2005 G35 I was just checking out the Japanese site and came across that so I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about this for the US version. If this is possible, that'll be a great bonus
