No one replyed to the other posts about Shift Kits, so i thought I would ask again has anyone installed either the NISMO kit

You can do a search on the topic.. this has been discussed ALOT!!!
Personally, I have used the B&M shifter on my G, and damn is that thing short! hence Short Shifter, anyway, with the B&M it would be difficult to get into reverse. Shifting with the B&M was very notchy!!! Again, too much for my taste.. And the worst part of the B&M was the chattering (or vibrating) noise when accelerating. This was very bad and just couldn't stand it. .Some other G'ers were able to resolve this issue, but you will have to search for it to get more detail..
So, I basically yanked out the B&M and went with the Rouge Short Shifter (by Rouge Engineering). This shifter is not that much shorter than stock, but this shifter is pretty damn smooth and rock solid. I installed the Rouge shifter myself, it was actually pretty easy..
As for the Nismo shifter, I have not heard that much about it.. hopefully somebody who has it can chime in..
anyway, good luck

Back in the day when I was a young grease monkey with a horsepower jones but no money to feed it, a "shift kit" was something you installed in an automatic transmission to make it shift more aggressively. Perhaps the meaning has changed, but what you're looking for I've always heard referred to as a "short shifter." Could that be why you didn't get many replies? Just a thought.
