How is engine noise on a 05 6MT?

I am getting close in buying a 2005, 6MT. I noticed the engine has a deep tone. I was wondering this is noticeably at 70 MPH on 5th or 6th. I am a week or two from taaking the plunge.

The 05 Sedan is slightly louder than 03 and 04 Sedans. Take a test drive on the freeway and see how it sounds, I doubt you will be able to hear much except wind noise.

Put those fears away-this is one sweet sounding engine and if anything the sound is muted, not loud.

The engine and exhaust have a nice growl around town, are wonderfully present on the highway - but not so much as to intrude, and sing beautifully when you use the go pedal above 4000 RPM.

You'll become addicted just like the rest of us.

Sounds just fine on the freeways. This may sound weird, but shifts are actually a bit loud over 3500rpm, so I bought a hood-liner from B-quiet.com for like $50, and that's helped curtail the wail.
