Excited until I see the estimated target price for $70k. That's too much for GT-R. I'm still stuck in the past R34 price range where its only $40k. I can understand for $50k but $70k. There are whole lotta other cars to consider at that price range. I would rather pick up a 1 year old BMW M5 or a loaded 545i sport. Look likes my dreams is getting farther and farther away.

no its not how it will look like. No one knows apparently.

70k was worth more before than it is now, I suspect it costing more than 70 (the new one).

That is not true. It was $70k to import it from Japan and get it to meet US safety standards. It was about $45-50k in Japan, maybe less!

This is all speculation, we'll have to wait and see, right now its all concept. I'm sure Nissan has some stuff on the drawing board, but I doubt anything finalized.

They're taking the car upscale for the NA market.

They had to decide which market to pursue - as a $50K Nissan and go after the Vette, etc. Or as a $75K Infiniti and go after 911, etc.

They chose to bring it over as an Infiniti, and therefore go after upscale marques... and pricing will reflect this.
