For those with Dspecs and Z springs
Hi all,
So I finally install the dspecs and z springs over the weekend and the drop is certainly what I'm looking for. The drop is 2 fingers in the front and 1 1/2 in the back. So the problem is this, when I drove my car around the block, I heard alot of shock/spring "chatter" coming from the front. Like something was loose or not installed right. I took it back to the auto shop and we couldn't figure out what was causing the noise. I was wondering if this chatter may be caused by the dspecs which are set at the softest setting? Will the shock "bottom out" at the softest setting? Because it was late on Saturday, I left my car there so the folks at the auto shop can work on it on Monday. So, if anyone can provide their experience with install, ride, and whatever else I may have missed, that would be greatly appreciated. I will post pics once I get my car back! Thanks.

I have this set up & no such issues.
Just by memory, I think the soft setting (similar to OEM) is about 4 turns.
If you have them backed all the way off, then that's too soft.
But shouldn't clatter, but may bottom out.
The most common thing missed is the sway bar links.
They can clatter if not torqued down.

thanks for the info intgr8r. I don't think it's the sway bar link. do you know of anything else that could cause any sort of noise from the front after the install? I heard something about the mount hats?
