G35S Drift to the right

I've taken my G35 (Sedan, Aero, Sports, Prem, Nav) in for a drift to the right three times. The dealership has admitted there is a slight drift but it is within specifications. I've given them the TSB for the coupe but they're not really honoring it for the sedan. It's the same sports suspension.

Anyone else have this problem with the sedan with the same package? If so, what have you done to make the dealership fix the problem...or did you just go straight to the manufacturer to use the lemon law?

Go over to Frashalloy do a search "pull's to the right". someone there had the same problem said the dealer put on bridgestones and the problem went away.

Please don't let them put the EL 42s on your car. They make your car a death trap. I have put 9k on the car so far and every time the road is wet I am dancing. It is scary. Please..please..don't put the bridgestone Turanza el 42s on your car. Even free they are not a bargain.

Re: G35S Drift to the right

I have the EL 42s on my sedan here in Houston. It rains all the time
here. While the tires are not the "best", I don't really have any problems
with them. The "slip" light come on when I really get on it occasionally.
Have not been able to find another tire with the same dimensions.
Don't know what to replace them with. Any suggestions?

God I love this car!

Mine drifts too. My buddy's does as well. He even got a loaner G35 and it drifted too. Dealer thinks it's a tire deal. I am waiting for the way to small (215/55) Goodyears to wear out. Then we shall see.

I have the 6 speed sport suspension. I had the same problem with mine, but it was more of a pull than a drift. I took it to my dealer three times. They did the alingment three times still pulled. The last time I took it in they replaced the Rims and Tires. That fixed the problem. So I would have to agree that it is a tire problem. They put the same Goodyears from a brand new sport sedan. I'll keep you updated as the tires start to wear. It may arrise after some miles. I have 11,000 miles on my car now, but only 1500 miles on the new rims and tires. I really didn't notice the pull to the right until I hit around 2500 to 3000 miles before. By the way I always turn the VDC off, evey single time I drive the car.

Yup, have the same problem with the same suspension. The dealer knew about the problem and said they aligned it to go a little left, but still pulls to the right.

Sounds like what you guys are saying is that the problem is a belt pull. Well, if that's the case, I'm going to wear these suckers out so I can get the 235's on.
