Body shop as the solution for this issue.

For someone else reading this one BEFORE ROLLING FENDERS, get/borrow a dremel and cut the inside line up to/just before the body welds (don't cut thru those!). Then use touch up paint to cover over the grinds.

Cheers, Ted

wheel shop split my paint qwhen they rolled the fenders on my M-B. 3 Body shops all gave me the same thing.........the'd have to paint the whole fender. I had metallic paint, though, which made blending a PITA.

That's what I'm afraid of. How much did it end up costing you? I really figured there had to be some adhesive or something easier to rectify this problem. I'm gonna see what I can this weekend. If worse comes to worse, the body shop will always be there. Wish me luck!

why would they need to paint the whole fender? If ymisotall's paint is cracked like mine, it's only the fender lip which got bent up inside the wheel well

Body shops will always tell you what's most expensive. my crack is on the inside of the wheel well.

I didn't personally roll the fender. it was one of my friends with an auto shop. don't ask how he f**ked up but he did. I'm just trying to fix this problem without going to a body shop but I may end up doing so anyhow.
