You know...because the sedan is quite skinny and the tires are tucked in a bit, it takes quite a wide tire to make it look beefy. Whereas cars like a basic 325i, they have a fender flare and their offsets lines up right by the fender, the same tire width on a 325i looks more meaty than a G even if the G has wider tires.
If you look at the back of a 350z, the tires itself are not that big but because it's so wide, your preception of the tires are wideeeeeeeeee just because the body is wide.
