Does the 05 back seats fold down. If they do how?

 

i believe the seats that come with the premium package C fold down. somebody correct me if i'm wrong.

 

ya the back seats do, open the trunk and there should be a lever on the left side, and it has a seat symbol, pull it and push the seats down

 

yea, the prem package will only get u reclining rear seats, but you should be able to fold the seats down in all 05 gs

Your kidding right? Last I heard from my dealer no G35 still doesn't have the fold down rear seats unless you have a coupe.

 

Your right Russ...the 05 Sedan rear seats do not fold down. Only the rear center arm rest folds down for a small pass thru to the trunk.
I guess these other guys that say they have on it their 05 sedans must have the special limited edition model 05s .

 

I didnt think the sedan seats folded either.

The rear seat backs do not fold down.

 

I realized that too. I walked into the garage, and am looking in my trunk like "wtf"...

 

As far as I know, sedan rear's can't but the coupe's can.

 

hehe, yes, I think the ones that said they had it on their sedans are still high on their "G"-Buzz. Or like I said earlier maybe they managed to get a limited edition model.

Since I OWN an 05 sedan, and HAD an 05 coupe, heres the story.

The 05 sedan seats DO NOT fold down. It's a real bummer. I honestly never even thought to ask when I bought the car. I too was like, WTF?, but that;s the truth. The center console (armrest) folds down, but that's it. I've done some extensive stereo install and it was a pain too, because you cannot fold the seat down..

Sorry guys, the rear seats, regardless of model/options/etc on a sedan DO NOT fold down. Hope this helps.
