Premier Mobile Aesthetics Group ClearBra install (lots of pics & videos)
Just had Sam and his crew apply clearbra film to my 05 DG 6mt sedan today. I was very impressed with the level of craftsmaship and overall product and installation quality. With these guys, you really get what you pay for!
check out these pics I took while they were applying the film:

I also recorded a few video clips of the film being applied. Here they are all in one long clip (10MB)

How does it age? Does it yellow? What happens when you get rock chips on it? 70% are blocked with minimal marring of film/no harm to paint and 30% knick the film and paint---but it would be more damage w/out. How does a 2-3 yr old clear bra look?
Anyone with a clear bra on for awhile want to chime in?
btw women should wear clear bras (and shirts)

I've only had my clear bra on for 5 months, but I have seen several cars (including a 2002 Boxter) that still look great. As was mentioned above, the clear bra is not indestructible. I have a few "dings" to the bra as well as some minor scuffs. With that said, the damage to the paint in substantially less than if I would have been driving naked. Best of all, in 3-4 years when I trade her in, I'll have the detail shop remove it, clay her up, and earn at least $500 more on the sale/trade.
It's a pretty safe "break even" investment for my money.

wow, that bra looks really thin, if you paid $500 for that, you must be loaded, it really doesn't look worththe money. For that kinda of quality, its nto gonna make a substantial amount of difference when a rock hits the car.

But does the BRA prevent front-end sag? Always a concern as she ages. The old style black vinyl BRAs reported had a "lift and separate" effect to give your beauty that "wide track" look.

another advantage I see is when you take a trip and you get the bug guts which contain gastric juices(acidic) that permanently stain paint if you don't wash within a few days. The bra will buy you time to get it washed b4 damage to paint. (for bird shiit stains too)
I had my entire front bumper done with 3M Scotchgard Paint Protection film for $250 by a 3M certified dealer, the hood nose mask was done by them too, but the dealer had that done. I wouldn't attempt applying anything like this DIY, it's an art!
Sam does a great job with the cler bra. They installed it on my front bumper and my veilside lip. This thing is really worth every penny! Ask people who never had one installed thats had their car for a few years and they will tell you that they wish they had done it.
i was in the small percent who had something hit, and pierce, my clear bra 2 weeks after installing it. yeah it pi**ed me off bad! but the installer did replace the clear bra, and installed it, at no charge after i had the hood repainted. so i guess they are great as long as you don't find that one freakin' rogue stone out there on the roads that is just waiting to prove all the clear bra nay sayers right! yes, they are a good investment for the majority of stuff out there, but they aren't the holy grail of paint protection that some feel they are. you gotta go with what makes sense to you, and not worry about anyone else's opinion on this stuff.
good luck with your bra, the car looks great!
