He's 17 years old and he said $2100.

If he's having problems deciding whether to buy wheels or not, what makes you believe he will have the sophistication to deal with stock brokers? Besides, I don't think stock brokers can turn that into $200K.

when i was 17 i had an 87 cutlass. i loved that car. zero to sixty in what seemed like days. gas mileage in the single digits..hell it was a v-8 working on three cylinders and it started when it felt like it..ahah..listen im 25 now and had to put more then that to just keep the car running when i was your age. Take that 2100 dollars and save it. or better yet put it on a horse. haha..jk. i know how u feel with wanting the rims. but you said you worked really hard for that money. dont waste it. you def have the nicest car of all your friends i bet. listen to your elders. put in a roth IRA. Then when you're 59.5 you can have your money..although it prob be over 100k by that point..haha

thanks guys/girls for all your input. made me realize that 2100 is alot of money, well i already knew that, but to use my money in a smarter way. screw the rims. i'll get them later when i have a better paying job or something. It's a beautiful car and I am very lucky/happy/appreciative i have it. I'm going to bank my money so when I move out, I can use it for rent. Or even my down payment on my motorcycle. But of course, that's in a few years! haha

F that! Buy those wheels and rock them on your G. You're young, dumb and full of c*m. Get it out of your system now. That way your don't end up a 34 year old single male that owns no property and spends a majority of his time on a stupid forum.

Okay. I decided to buy the rims, ONLY if I find a buyer for my 05 18" sport-tuned wheels/tires for $1000. If I find a buyer for these, then I will for sure buy the rims that I want. The rims are in perfect condition except for one of them. It has a bit of curb rash but you can't really notice it until a few inches away. Tires/wheels only have 3k miles on them. I'm in socal, and I will drive and deliver to you. $1000. Anybody interested? I can help you and you can help me! Please PM me if anyone is interested.

Somebody PLEASEEEEE!!! Help me get these wheels/tires off my hands so I can buy my new ones!! I'm in love with them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not the advice you want to follow, I'm sure Mr. Big was jiving when he posted that. If you start saving at 40, the boat will have been long gone by the time you arrive at the dock.

OK. Before you do that let's make sure that you're not gonna go to all that effort and then get torched re: wheel selection by the same guys who encouraged you to do it.

Allright boys: These rims - IN CHROME - in 20 inchers. Whadya think?
