Do heated seats work with A/C on?

I turned on my a/c to go to work this a.m. and put on the driver's heated seat on high because my back was sore and the seat never really heated up. I then turned on the passenger heated seat on high and after 3 min. there was nothing so I turned them both off and either the heated seats in my car don't work or they are not designed to work with the a/c on. I have an 05 which I got in April. Does anyone know if the heated seats were designed not to work with the a/c on or can someone try it and let me know. Thanks

I have never heard of that...I see no reason why they should not both work at the same time...however...several ppl have reported that the seats never get warm enough..or not at all.

In my 2003.5 they definitely work with the AC on. Just last week I accidentally turned them on while cleaning the interior and almost roasted the next day until I realized what had happened.

My question is, why would you want it on?

Corgidog: My girlfriend told me the passenger seat heater doesn't work. This car has really bad seat warmers and they do turn off I think once they reach a certain temperature (which is too low). I've turned mine on and it doesn't seem to work either, but I am tired of taking my car into the dealership because something always comes back broken.

Don't even sweat it man...you have an '05. take the sucker in to get looked at. I'm sure there are other Infiniti dealers better than the one you don't like.

I don't use the seat warmer, so if it bugs me during winter I will take it in.

That is depressing news. Mine did warm up slightly but it was so slight that it could have been my imagination.

I've used the seat warmers in my parents cars, they heat up quick and you can feel it. Funny thing is, one is a GMC and it has 3 heating options and it does get hot if you turn it up, this car is somewhat dissapointing in this category.
