New Intake Option
New Intake Option
So...as we all know, there are very few choices when it comes to getting an intake for your G. Either you get Injen or AEM's CAI, or you match a K&N filter or PopCharger to a Z-Tube.
In my previous Maxima, I had a Weapon *R intake- while the paper filter wasn't the greatest (swapped for an A'pexi for $10), it made the most incredible intake sound (only under WOT), better than any CAI I've heard. Also, it provided a noticable power gain.
In my quest for a new intake, I came across Weapon *R's website. I noticed that they offer an intake for the 350z. I know that this will bolt right up to our motors, so it looks like we have another company to turn to for our intake needs. The $152 price isn't too bad either.
I am purchasing the unit right now, and will have a full report of the ram-air unit once installed.
