Curious-
I had the dealer install the XM tuner before I bought my car back in March.
I've become suspect of the service department as of late, and this one makes me even more so.

They mounted the XM Tuner on the back of the seat in the trunk. From there, they bent the cheap trunk material that normally lies flat over the rear seat in a stock G, over the tuner, which looks super cheasy.

Peninsula Infiniti sold me the car and installed the xm tuner.
Any suggestions- Is this an "ok" mounting spot for the tuner?

 

I thought they went on the floor in the trunk beside the spare tire.????

If you don't like the location of yours, have them change it.

The sedan location is just behind the passenger-side rear seat. Yes, it causes the trunk liner to bulge a little. But there really is no option since the connector cable is too short to permit another location.
