Installed D specs-Have a question

How to tighten nut at top of shock piston? The rod just spins in the shock. I think this may be the cause of the slight rattle I have. Any help much appreciated! (yes I searched)

I don't have them, but I have has the same problem putting in other shocks before. I used a racheting box end and a screwdriver. I don't know If you can do the same.

There is a flat spot on the shaft that you can put a spanner on
while you tighten the nut.

It's easiest to do off the car.
To do it on the car you need a deep offset box end wrench so that
you can use the spanner at the same time.
A socket won't work.

what intgr8r said . . . . and it most likely will correct the noise you're experiencing - did for me anyway.

Mine was more of a bump sound than a rattle.
Hope it helps.
