XM Install With SkyFy2... Anyone?

Just picked up my "new" 2004 Black 6MT fully loaded with Simoniz Int and Ext, Clear Bra and the full Aero Kit (I'll post pics soon). So far so good! My first 'mod' will be XM Radio and that leads me to my question. I have a SkyFy2 that I installed in my WRX STi (before I traded it in), my Saturn and have the hook-up to use it in the house. What I'd like to do is find a way to use it in the G35 without having the OEM XM Receiver / Antenna installed. I know it would be a lot cleaner looking to just activate and install the Infiniti XM Equipment but I don't feel like spending money for an additional receiver through XM. Has anyone successfully installed an external XM unit in the G35? I don't have Navi so the spot on top of the console would be a nice place to put it but I'd love to see pics of anyone that has successfully completed the above before I go ahead and tear the damn car apart.

Thanks in advance!
Jeremy

If your asking about a place to mount the receiver, maybe this might help https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-video-electronics/64292-mount-phone-ipod-other.html
