Until this oil crisis is over, it looks like your move was a prudent one.
As mpgxsvcd says, a hybrid G may be available sometime down the road to satisfy everyone's needs.

I can't see, with my driving, that selling a 4 year old G35 in 08, even if Infiniti surprises us and offers a hybrid, will actually save any money
