She drove on the wrong side of the road, sped, and blasted through the stop sign intersection with kids around. I wanted to chase her down and run her off the road. Years ago, I would of just laughed at it.
Cute kids! One baby is easy so I'm not worried. It's the 8 month pregnant wife making me insane right now. Holy hormones batman.

Try using that excuse in a court of law.

They should release pictures of the driver to the press. I don't care if the fool's not an adult. You do something like that, and you deserve to have your pic plastered all over town.

no one can resist a race, dont say you havent tried to out run the driver next to you when you merge in to traffic, or try to catch and pass some one that cut you off. or even step on it from a light because the car next to you is inching forward when they see the lights turn yellow for the cross street.
or if a bimmer 33 is all over your rear mirror , you wouldnt step on it to take off from him?
kids will always be kids, thats why we had so much fun at that age, dangerous wasnt part of the vocab back then. thats why you have shows like JACKASS and VIVA LA BAM!

So you think it's ok?...the truth is young or old if you street race you are stupid and deserve to lose your license PERIOD. I guess for some people common sense is an ability they learn over time and not born with it.

I was young and loved the speed and still do, but never raced on the streets where there was traffic or kids around.

There ought to be a law that makes parents CRIMINALLY responsible for their kids' actions. I am sure that if there was such a law, less stupid kids would be out there acting like dumb a$$ess.

Ya, I do get the urge to race sometimes. A lot, actually - but like most sane people I do it at the track. It's easy to resist when you're on the street. I just think of my wife, sisters, mother and what I would do to the punk that got them killed by racing on the street.

I have ZERO kids, by choice, and still don't drive like a fOcking retard. I don't see the point. I guess if someone is weak of character or lacks self confidence it's a way to feel better about their existence.

What is the prize when someone wins a street race? Ego points? Status? A 'thumbs up?' What? I know in many instances money changes hands, but in most the run-ons I see and read about here, it's just two ********$ out bumping ****heads to (falsely) pump up their sense of self-worth.

No one can resist a race? Horse$hit. Feel free to admit your own inability to control yourself, but don't group those who can in with those who can't. Thank you.

Citing examples of 'this guy inching up' and 'that guy who cut you off' or 'race-merging' or whatever - BS. To me it sounds like more of the normal lame excuses you hear from children after they do what THEY WANT instead of WHAT'S RIGHT. In every case cited it's just as easy (or easier) to ease up and let the ASSH0LE go instead of becoming one yourself. I love laughing at dolts like you. But whatever - to each their own. As someone here so eloquently put it - die in a fire.

Those who street race, make excuses for street racers, support street racing, or don't condemn street racing are all part of the problem, and I wish them all the pain and suffering they can endure.

No kidding.

If you think the inability to resist a race is justifiable, then you had better be ready to accept that excuse if some street racer kills someone in your family.

officer: Sorry Mr. X, your wife was hit and killed by two street racers going 100 MPH down the street.

you: What?

officer: Yeah, they said that they couldn't resist the urge to race.

you: Well, that's ok then. Afterall, who CAN resist a race?
