Sweeeeet!!
Sweeeeet!!
Picked up my new sedan this afternoon. Already two complaints -- it goes too fast and the rear view mirror shakes when the music is cranked! Aside from that, the first 14 miles were a dream!
Sales (well, leasing) experience went very well. Only little surprise was the car had 90 miles on it as it had been brought over from another dealership at some point. Wasn't a big issue for me. Oh, they also drilled the front bumper for the license plate frame. I'd call them this morning to ask them not to do it, but they said they drill them as they come off the truck. Whatever, I'll just get some bumper plugs.
For those who have asked me about the deal I got, I was asked by the sales manager not to disclose the details (which I already posted here yesterday). I'm going to work with the same dealership to acquire an M45 for my company, so I don't want to burn any bridges. Suffice it say, a deal like the one I got IS out there. I simply emailed four of my local dealers and told them exactly what I was looking for and quoted the current residual and money factors. Three came back with excellent numbers, but the fourth actually met them.
Now I just have to wait until the working day is done so I can go drive my baby home! (Although it will be a bit sad to leave my 325i in the parking lot at work until I figure out how to get her back to BMW.)
Oh, and pics coming tomorrow.

I have the same color and interior - good choice! Are you gonig to get a chance to drive the company M45? That would be sweet. Maybe you can take it for several test drives and make sure everything is working properly - like WOT and tire grip.
