$4500/yr for insurance!!!!!!

Wow - that's incredibly high (to put it in perspective, over five years you could buy a fully loaded Mazda3 for just what you're paying in insurance, and even have a good chunk of money left over). I'm 33, married, clean record and we insure both our '05 Odyssey and '04 G35x for less than $1500/year (250/500k coverage across the board, $1000 deductible). I think the G runs about $800/year. Travelers Group. Been with them for about 6 years, and they have my homeowners, so there's a hundred bucks off or something for that.
Anyway, definitely try quicken.com, insure.net, or something similar. Give Traveler's a call if they insure in Jersey.
Good luck!

Holy ****! We have 2 G Sedans and are both under 30 with clean driving records. We have a $500 deductible for full coverage. We received our renewal information in the mail yesterday. $434 and $461 for 6 months. Now that includes about $70 in discounts for each car because we have our home owner's insurance with them also. You should be able to find a lower rate assuming that your ticket isn't a reckless driving or something other than the garden variety speeding ticket. Try an independent insurance agent and see what they can come up with. Good Luck!!

man, alot of you are getting hosed.
I am 24, married, $250 deductable, 250/250 full coverage, and I only pay $1100 per YEAR. This will even go down in a couple months by about 200 when I turn 25. It does not go down any more as you get older then, after 25 and married as a male - it is as low as it goes with State Farm - unless you have a homeowners insurace policy with them, which I do not now, but will in a couple months. I pay a little less than that even for my GTO - only about $900 a year. My 98 altima is about 650 per year and my Talon tsi awd is about $500 per year. So I pay a touch over $3000 a year for full coverage on 4 cars with a 250 deductable. My wife and I have no tickets though,(on record that is - pays to get a lawyer and go to court) so that helps alot. I am considering raising the deductable on all the cars to $500 - that and along with me turning 25 should lower it another $800-1000 or so a year.

New Jersey is going to rape you on car insurance no matter what company you pick compared to neighboring states. Also Progressive seems to be the cheapest on car insurance when I shopped around. But last time I checked Progressive didn't insure in NJ. I'm 23 married live in Delaware own a G35 and a SRT4 with 2 tickets and your insurance is MORE than 3 times the amount of mine. Ouch!!
