Too funny. That's why you've got to always keep an eye on these threads, you never know what's coming next!

Speaking of unsafe speed, anybody read the other sedan thread where Car & Driver has the new Lexus IS350 doing the 1/4 in 13.4 at 104mph and a 0-60 in 5.1? Now that would be a car that has an "actual" 300hp under it's hood

135mph = 198 feet per second. Don't blink! Those potholes come up FAST.

The whole 2 mile run at that speed would last about 53 seconds or so, not accounting for the distance / time to get to that speed and the distance / time to slow down from it. I know it's fun and all but I honestly wouldn't worry about being limited at that speed.

There are no speed limits in [insert belief-specific life after death location here]

For lack of a school zone, I was able to make a highway run up to an indicated 140-142. No 135 mph limiter here.

I think that he wants to verify that his car is putting out power on par with everyone else's stock G35x.

Similar to ChicagoX .... I hit 142 MPH on my X and I did not hit the limiter.
