My top speed has been about 100mph. Why would I want to go any faster?

Only 136mph? Do you live in Germany or something?

same as cale^^. I don't go to a track and the Autobahn is not very convenient, so why endanger others to test it And also I wouldn't want to lose my license if I got caught.

I would definitely take your car in. Tell the dealer you cannot believe your car is only capable of speeds of 135mph. Its an outrage to tell you the truth...

Yeah. Something's definitely wrong here. It should be covered under warranty though.

wow you're all so pussihurt about 135mph on a rural road where theres nothing around and you can see an oncoming car from about 2 miles, i dunno but 135 isnt that fast it gets up there pretty quick and will slow down pretty quick too

Bonne chance.

The X is quite possibly speed-limited at 135 because of the OEM all-season tires that are meant for safety, not speed

I wonder if the Canadian cars had different limiters.......hmmm.

TBone--good idea. As soon as I can find a school zone while it's raining, I will test the theory.

The stock all seasons that came on my X were a V-rated tire which means they are rated to 240 km/h or 150mph, so why would they set it at 135.
